Smart Toilet / Thermostatic Shower (Water Diverter Valve, Thermostatic Valve)

1. Application Scope

• Water Diverter Valve: Used to switch flushing modes for smart toilets (e.g., posterior wash, feminine wash) and water outlet modes for thermostatic showers (e.g., top spray, hand shower, bidet spray).
• Thermostatic Valve: Used to adjust and stabilize water temperature, preventing scalding from overheated water and improving comfort.

2. Core Features

• Miniature Design: Compact size, compatible with internal structures of smart toilets and thermostatic showers without occupying excessive space.
• Excellent Thermostatic Performance: Quickly adjusts the hot and cold water ratio to maintain stable outlet temperature (around 38℃ typically), with effective anti-scald protection.
• Quiet Operation: Smooth and silent switching, enhancing user experience.
• Reliable Sealing: Leak-proof; aesthetically pleasing surface free of scratches and burrs, ensuring no rough edges.

3. Processing Notes

• High Precision for Micro Valve Core

   

  Valve core diameter: 10–20 mm; dimensional tolerance ≤ ±0.005 mm. Extremely small fitting clearance ensures accurate flow control and prevents leakage. Precision grinding is required to improve surface finish.
   
• Accurate Assembly of Temperature-Sensing Elements

   

  Temperature-sensing components (e.g., paraffin sensor) of thermostatic valves must be installed at the core of the flow channel to quickly detect temperature changes and adjust water ratio promptly. Thermostatic accuracy shall be controlled within ±1℃ to avoid fluctuation.
   
• High-Grade Surface Polishing

   

  Valve body adopts mirror polishing with surface roughness ≤ Ra0.2, free of scratches, burrs and oxidation spots. It is smooth, cleanable and aesthetic.
   
• Stable & Flexible Diverter Mechanism

   

  The switching mechanism must be smooth, no jamming or abnormal noise, no cross-flow after switching. Seal and service life tests are required: switching cycles ≥ 50,000 times for long-term stability.
   
• High-Performance Sealing Materials

   

  Food-grade silicone seals with high temperature resistance and anti-aging properties, capable of withstanding 40–80℃ hot water. Non-toxic, odorless, leak-proof and compliant with sanitary standards.
   

4. Selection Criteria

• Prioritize stable thermostatic performance and anti-scald safety. Outlet temperature variation ≤ ±1℃. Models with anti-scald lock are recommended for families with the elderly and children.
• Choose flexible water diversion with clear mode switching, no cross-flow or leakage, matching the flushing/outlet modes of smart toilets and showers.
• Prefer ceramic or stainless steel sealing components: ceramic is wear-resistant and high-temperature resistant; stainless steel is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant.
• Inspect surface finish: smooth, scratch-free and burr-free. Ensure smooth operation without noise. Choose branded bathroom valves for better compatibility and after-sales service.
