Washing Machine / Dishwasher (Water Inlet Solenoid Valve, Drain Valve)
1. Application Scope
Suitable for water circuit control in household washing machines (front-loading, top-loading) and dishwashers.
The water inlet solenoid valve controls water inflow rate and duration, automatically opening and closing according to the equipment’s working program.
The drain valve discharges wastewater from the appliance, completing drainage after washing and rinsing cycles. Some drain valves also feature impurity filtration.
2. Core Features
- Driven by low-voltage DC (usually 12V or 24V), with high safety and no risk of high-voltage electric shock.
- Fast opening and closing, with response time ≤ 0.3 seconds, enabling precise coordination with the equipment program.
- Valve body is waterproof and corrosion-resistant, protecting against detergent and wastewater to prevent rust and damage.
- Compact size, suitable for installation inside household appliances.
3. Processing Notes
- The matching clearance between the electromagnet and valve core must be precise, controlled within ±0.01 mm, ensuring fast opening/closing under low voltage, no jamming or abnormal noise, and reliable sealing to prevent leakage.
- Plastic parts (valve body housing, core seat) must be free of burrs and deformation, made of high-strength engineering plastics (ABS, PP, etc.) to avoid cracking; surfaces must be smooth for easy cleaning and reduced impurity adhesion.
- Seals and valve body materials must resist detergent corrosion (neutral and alkaline solutions), remaining durable without aging or failure. Food-grade silicone must be used for dishwasher valves to avoid tableware contamination.
- The filtration structure of drain valves must be reasonably designed with appropriately sized mesh to filter impurities (textile fibers, food residues) and prevent clogging. The filter should be easy to disassemble and clean.
- Finished products must undergo waterproof and lifespan testing: waterproof rating ≥ IP67, switching cycles ≥ 100,000 times, ensuring stable performance in humid environments and long service life.
4. Selection Guide
- Prioritize low-voltage DC safety types (12V or 24V) to reduce electric shock risk, especially for families with children. Ensure compatibility with the rated voltage and power of the washing machine or dishwasher.
- Choose valves with switching cycles ≥ 100,000 times; high-quality valves can reach over 200,000 cycles for long-term use.
- Select food-grade and pollution-resistant materials. Dishwasher valves require food-grade plastics and seals, odor-free and free of heavy-metal precipitation. Washing machine valves need corrosion resistance to detergents and rust protection.
- Check smooth operation of the valve core: no jamming, no abnormal noise, no water leakage during inflow, no clogging during drainage. Original factory matching valves are recommended for better compatibility and stability.
