Water Purifier / Water Dispenser (Inlet Valve, Check Valve)
1. Application Scope
Mainly used in water purification equipment such as water purifiers (RO reverse osmosis purifiers, ultrafiltration purifiers), direct drinking machines, coffee machines, and water dispensers.
The inlet valve controls the inlet water flow and provides a stable water supply for purification equipment.
The check valve prevents backflow of purified water, avoids contamination of the filter element, maintains internal pressure, and ensures normal operation of the purification process.
2. Core Features
- Made of food-grade materials, odorless and free of heavy metal precipitation, ensuring safe purified water that meets national drinking water standards.
- Low operating pressure (typically 0.1–0.4 MPa), matching the pressure requirements of water purification equipment.
- Excellent sealing performance, no leakage, preventing mixing of unpurified water into purified water.
- Compact size, suitable for the internal installation space of water purification devices.
3. Processing Notes
- The inner wall of the valve body must be highly clean. Oil, iron chips, dust and other residues must be avoided during processing. The inner wall shall be polished to a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm to prevent impurity adhesion and water contamination.
- Materials shall be free of heavy metal precipitation. Priority shall be given to food-grade 304 stainless steel, PP plastic, lead-free brass, etc. Heavy metal testing shall be conducted after processing, and contents of lead, mercury, cadmium and other heavy metals must comply with GB 4806.1-2016 for food contact materials.
- Seals must have food-grade certification, using food-grade silicone or EPDM rubber, which are odorless, non-toxic, anti-aging and non-shedding in long-term water contact, ensuring reliable sealing and no leakage.
- The spool of the check valve shall be flexible with reliable anti-backflow performance and low flow resistance. The spool of the inlet valve shall open and close smoothly with precise flow regulation.
- After processing, water quality testing and sealing tests are required to ensure no impurities, no heavy metal contamination, and no leakage.
4. Selection Guide
- Prioritize food-grade 304 stainless steel, PP plastic or lead-free brass to avoid heavy metals and odor. Do not use ordinary plastic or lead-containing materials that may pollute water.
- Products must have water contact safety certification, such as the Health Permit for Water-contact Products issued by the National Health Commission. Uncertified products are strictly prohibited.
- Choose low-noise, non-microleakage products. The inlet valve should run quietly, and the check valve should provide reliable backflow prevention.
- Match the flow rate of the water purification equipment. Check that the valve spool moves smoothly without jamming and the interface sealing is reliable.
