Common CNC Machining Issues & Key Points

• Aluminum Alloy Machining:

   

  Soft aluminum material tends to cause tap adhesion, rough threads, and surface scratches during internal threading. Special aluminum taps shall be used, with increased cutting fluid supply and controlled cutting speed to prevent adhesion and burrs, ensuring smooth internal threads.
   
• Sealing Surface Machining:

   

  Nuts for water cooling plates and battery pack sealing surfaces require flawless smooth sealing surfaces to prevent liquid leakage. Fine milling of sealing surfaces is necessary, with surface roughness controlled to Ra ≤ 1.6 μm for tight fitting with seals.
   
• Foolproof Structure Machining:

   

  Dimensional deviations in foolproof positioning grooves may cause assembly jamming. Positioning grooves must be strictly machined per drawings to ensure precise matching with mating parts, avoiding assembly errors and improving efficiency.
   
• Insulation Section Machining:

   

  Insulation sections of electronic control nuts require uniform dimensions; uneven wall thickness will reduce insulation performance. Turning precision must be controlled, insulation layer thickness and integrity inspected, and damage to the insulation layer during internal threading avoided.
